Hello. I'm Tamara Banks and welcome to TazMedia's website! I am an Emmy Award winning freelance journalist, talk show host and documentary filmmaker, dedicated to creating social change through excellence in journalism. I'm also committed to providing informative and well-produced and written news stories and articles for broadcast and print on tight deadlines. My areas of expertise include: political issues, nationally and internationally, Southern Sudan and Darfur, community/civic engagement and social justice. My work has been featured in numerous broadcast and print mediums over the past 22 years.
